Pure Butter Shortbread
  • ½ cup salted soft butter (1 stick)
  • ¼ cup sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1¼ cups all purpose flour
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. degrees
  2. Mix butter & sugar together. Add flour and mix until it all sticks together.
  3. Press dough into 9x5" loaf pan (I use the back of a spoon).
  4. Take a fork and poke holes all over the top. .
  5. Bake for 25-27 mins, just until the edges start to get slightly golden.
  6. Let cool before serving.
