Snickerdoodle Bars
 
Ingredients
  • 2⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¾ cup salted butter, softened
  • 1¼ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • -Cinnamon Filling-
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In large bowl, mix butter & sugars together. Mix in eggs and vanilla. (either by hand or with mixer)
  3. Mix in flour and baking powder.
  4. Spoon half the batter into pan using a rubber spatula.
  5. Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle evenly over the top.
  6. Now take the last half of the batter and drop by the spoonful over the cinnamon & sugar.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
