I made a double batch of strawberry freezer jam last week and ran out of the strawberries that we had picked. Today I was at the farmers market and they had the best looking strawberries, so I bought a bunch more……….now what am I supposed to do with all these?? Make STRAWBERRY COFFEE CAKE of course.
The Topping: Now that I have figured out that the food processor does a much better job and is so much easier, I rarely use a pastry blender. See pictures below.

I made this for my daughter’s birthday breakfast (she’s 17), and she loved it! Even my carb-free husband broke down and had a piece. Great recipe!
Hi Kelli! So glad to hear everyone liked it! :)
Great recipe! I was following the instructions exactly, which left out adding the vanilla- I should have used my common sense and added it at the right time, as I’m sure everyone else does when making this!
I would like to make this in a 13 x 9 in pan. Should I triple the recipe and how much longer should I bake it?
Hi Jessi. Just double the recipe, not triple it. I would say 40-45 mins for the cooking time, but keep an eye on it so that it doesn’t start to brown. Thanks
Seriously delicious! I made it twice in one week.
Hi Kris, I’m so glad you like the coffee cake recipe. Thanks for taking the time to comment, we appreciate it.
