My daughter is a Girl Scout, so for the past 4 years we have had our neighbors over for a Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing. It’s a good way to get rid of all of the extra cookies! I though I would share some of our favorite pairings.
The SHORTBREAD cookies:
-Pale Ales
-or IPA’s
We have had them with 3 Floyds zombie Dust, Bell’s Two hearted and with Star Chicken Shotgun from Greenbush.

The THIN MINTS: have been really hard to pair. This year was our best pairing for them with a vanilla porter from Breckenridge Brewing. In years past we have tried chocolate stouts and milk stouts, but none were as good an the vanilla porter. If you can get your hands on a chocolate mint stout or porter that would work great. I’ve tried a few and they reminded me of thin mints, but have not tried the two together.
-Vanilla Porters
-Chocolate Mint Stouts
-or just a regular Stout or Porter

CARAMEL DELIGHTS/SOMOAS are great with KoKo Brown from Kona Brewing Company. I’m pretty sure they would be good with Death by Coconut from Oscar Blues. If you can’t find either of those I would recommend a brown ale.
-KoKo Brown
-Death by Coconut
-Any coconut porter or stout
-Last resort, just a brown ale

PEANUT BUTTER PATTIES/TAGALONGS were another tough one to pair, but this Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter from Horny Goat was a perfect match. There are a few other breweries that make chocolate peanut butter beer, but if you can’t find one then I would get a chocolate porter.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter
or Chocolate Porter/Stout

LEMONADES: Our first choice would be a sour or farmhouse ale, almost anything from Praire would be good. It has also gone well with Citradelic Tangerine IPA from New Belgium, also tried Purple Haze a raspberry lager from Abita, you could try any raspberry beer or even a shandy too.
-Saison
-Farmhouse
-Sour Beer
~Raspberry or Shandy
Well this would be a fun thing to do! I have a lot of friends that would love doing this! Thanks!
