Soft Batch Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
These have been my go to cookies this summer. I make a batch about every week and they just disappear, especially with the kids around. They are so good and pretty much fool proof. I have even thrown in some peanut butter chips and M&M’s too.

I’m so glad you like them. This is my go to chocolate chip recipe :)
These were by far one of the best cookie bar recipes. I put about a half of a cup of peanut butter in the batter, yum! I’ve made them twice within last week. Thank you soo much for sharing this recipe.
Thank you! I love the peanut butter idea, I will have to give it a try!
How much butter in “cups?”
Hi Fay, that would be 3/4 cup of melted butter.
These were a hit at my office yesterday!
I’m so glad you like them! Thank you.
So you grease the pan?
I make them all the time and they don’t stick. I do use pyrex, if you are using metal you can give it a light greasing.
I do. I use a pan release made with shortening, oil and flour. Really good stuff!
Still my go to cookie bar recipe, loooove it! I’m going to put it in a 9 inch pan and it will be layered with a peanut butter chocolate chip cake layer with peanut butter caramel frosting with a chocolate ganache drip.
Yum, that sounds amazing!! I’m so glad you love them!
I made these today and substituted oat flour (used the same weight as the the all-purpose flour) because I wanted to make something gluten free/GF and didn’t have GF flour on hand. Well they turned out delicious, so I can imagine if next time I use all-purpose flour I’m sure they’ll be even better. Great recipe!
