Monster Cookie Dough Frosting.
This stuff is SO GOOD, I could eat it by the spoonful!!
If you need a thinner frosting, add additional tablespoons of milk until you get the consistency you are looking for.
This frosting will taste gritty from the brown sugar until it sits for about 30 mins.
Feel free to use regular size chocolate chips and M&M’s, and add more if you like.
*Eating raw flour has become a concern for some people. People have been trying the microwave method to heat flour to 160 F. degrees, I have not tried it. Disclaimer: Make & eat at your own risk.
Monster Cookie Dough Frosting
Recipe type: Dessert
- ½ cup soft butter
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup quick oats
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
- ⅓ cup mini M&M's
- Add oats to a food processor and pulse it a few times.
- In large bowl combine butter, peanut butter, sugars, oats, milk and vanilla. Once combined stir in chocolate chips and M&M's.
- Double if making for a layer cake. This is enough for a 9x13 cake.
