Soft Brown Sugar Yogurt Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2-3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets.
  2. Using an electric mixer cream the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar together. Add the egg, vanilla and the yogurt, and continue mixing.
  3. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Roll or scoop dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are just starting to turn golden brown.
  6. Allow the cookies to rest for a minute before removing them to wire racks to cool completely.
